VHI Nurse Scholarships
VHI has established a Nurse Scholarship Fund to address the financial considerations that often deter or preclude qualified nurses and scrub technicians from participating in VHI field programs.

In four events, Run to See raised over $14,000 for VHI, a tremendous feat and a tribute to the close friendships and family ties that were displayed in support of the work VHI performs.
Chinandega, Nicaragua
In three years, VHI conducted six field programs in Chinandega, providing 2,087 eye examinations, 3,268 pairs of eyeglasses, and performing 642 sight-restoring surgeries.

VHI has conducted one-week field programs in Piura every year since 2005. Piura is a vibrant commercial city in the coastal/desert region of northwestern Peru.
